Worship and Sunday School

Traditional Worship
(9:30 am)

Our first opportunity for worship each Sunday is a time of sharing together as our parents and grandparents did.  We begin with announcements (doesn't everybody?) and a shared call to worship. We sing together, read scripture, listen to the choir, and share a time of prayer.  Our worship includes a message from our pastor that challenges us to live our lives the way that Jesus lived but also connects the world of the Bible to the problems that we face today.  Normally this service lasts for just over an hour.  We hope that you will join us as we lift our voices in prayer, praise and worship.

Sunday School
(10:30 am)

Sunday School for all ages begins at 10:30 am following the traditional worship service.  Afterwards, at 11:15 am, we will meet upstairs in the fellowship hall for our Coffee House worship service.

Everyone is invited to participate in Sunday school regardless of which worship service is a good fit for you.

Coffee House Worship

If the tradition and ritual of traditional worship is not your thing, then this might just be more your speed.  Our Coffee House service does not have congregational responsive readings, recited prayers, creeds, or the ritual of the traditional worship service but we do spend time in praise and worship so that we can draw close to God.  Dress is casual and come-as-you-are (we only ask that you be decent), we sit at tables and cushioned chairs, coffee and cold water are provided.  In this service, we begin with a (very) brief time of announcements, and then begin a time of praise and worship led by our praise team.  There is an offering and the pastor shares a message that teaches, challenges us, and connects the world of the Bible to the problems that we face today. Normally this service lasts for about 45 minutes.  Come on out and be a part of something new and growing!
